Call Before You Dig 811
As a utility company, Ute Water Conservancy District is actively involved in the efforts the "811 – Call Before You Dig" campaign. 811 is a FREE service offered by the Common Ground Alliance, CGA, and the over 1,400 members and sponsors of the program. Every digging job requires a call – even small projects like planting trees or shrubs. If you hit an underground utility line while digging you can harm yourself or those around you, disrupt service to an entire neighborhood, and potentially be responsible for fines and repair cost. Underground utilities are commonly and easily hit by both contractors and individuals working on DIY projects – claiming the lives for people across our nation. Please be responsible and call "811" before you dig!
