Unfolding Colorado

Unfolding Colorado is an interactive program and lessons about Colorado, conducted on an oversized vinyl floor map (26' x 35'). The program is designed to encourage geographic learning through physical movement and games, teaching place names, physical and cultural geography, and map reading skills. The presentations are targeted for 4th grade students and focus on Colorado River headwaters, population census, elevation, and history of towns.
